Default welcome message
All LifeWebs include the following welcome message by default, unless you change the message via your admin panel. For custom welcome messages, a note on how visitors can send memories via email will be appended to the end of the message after submitting.
This is a place to collect your memories and reflect on the special moments lived with [Name of Person]. Whether you knew as family, from school, or a community group, there's a place for your memory here.
phrases to include during social distancing
Consider including one of these phrases in your welcome message during COVID-19 restrictions on gatherings
Until we can gather to celebrate [his/her/their] life, this will allow us each to honor [him/her/them].
During this time of "social distancing" these messages are a way to bring us together in place of a traditional [wake / shiva].
We look forward to coming together to share in the photos and stories you add here at a future Celebration of Life.
It's difficult for us not to be together at this time but this is a place where we can share our pictures, memories, and stories.
adding a link
If you’d like to include a link in your welcome message to a charity for donations or to a GoFundMe campaign, add the text you’d like displayed followed by the hyperlink in parentheses, and we’ll include.
If you are moved to make a donation in [his / her / their] honor, we invite you to contribute to [Charity Name].
In loving memory of [first name of person], contributions may be made to [Organization or fund name].
